Southern Highlands Group

Southern Highlands OWN (SHOWN) was formed after a public meeting in April 2002.

The focus of our group is to keep older women informed on health issues and to encourage an active lifestyle. This is achieved through guest speakers covering a wide range of issues, health forums and occasional outings.

SHOWN's parody performance group, the WENCHes, delivers health messages through original lyrics set to familiar music.

SHOWN meets at the Mittagong RSL on the first Thursday of every month except January. New members and visitors are always welcome.
